As a security feature, SmarterMail can create a list of users whose passwords do not meet the configured password requirements. Non-compliant users can then be notified by email that they need to change their passwords to meet the password requirements. NOTE: The system administrator must have defined a password policy for this feature to work. For more information, please refer to the knowledge base article Set Up a Password Policy.
